Whether your home pregnancy test was positive, negative, or unclear, we are here to provide reliable pregnancy confirmation in a safe, confidential, and welcoming setting.
At your visit, you’ll be offered an onsite rapid urine pregnancy test for immediate results, followed by a laboratory urine hCG test, with results typically available within 24–48 hours. If results are unclear, do not agree, or additional information is medically helpful, our physician may recommend quantitative hCG bloodwork. Blood hCG testing measures the amount of hCG present and can provide additional information when further evaluation is needed.
Throughout the process, your results will be reviewed carefully, explained clearly, and you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions in a calm, private, and unhurried setting.

If your pregnancy test is positive, additional medical services may be offered to help confirm your results, assess pregnancy development, and give you clearer information about your next steps.

Quantitative hCG Blood Testing
hCG is a hormone produced during pregnancy. A quantitative hCG blood test measures the exact amount of hCG in your blood, providing more detailed information than a standard urine pregnancy test, which typically gives only a positive or negative result.
Quantitative hCG testing can be helpful when additional information is needed about an early pregnancy, particularly when results are uncertain or follow-up testing is recommended.
Comprehensive STI/STD Testing We provide comprehensive testing for sexually transmitted infections, with treatment at no cost when medically appropriate. Because many STIs can be present without noticeable symptoms, testing can be an important part of protecting your health. Testing, medical review, treatment, and follow-up are all provided free of charge.

- STI means an infection is present, with or without symptoms
- STD refers to an infection that has caused symptoms or health problems
Testing looks for infections early — even before symptoms appear — which is especially important during pregnancy.
Questions You May Be Asking
It can be hard to wait when you are looking for an answer. Pregnancy tests detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone that begins to rise after implantation. If you test very early, there may not yet be enough hCG to detect, which means a negative result does not always rule out pregnancy.
For the most reliable result, a urine pregnancy test is generally best on or after the first day of your missed period. Some tests may detect pregnancy sooner, but the earlier you test, the greater the chance of a false-negative result.
If your test is negative but your period still has not started—or something still makes you think you may be pregnant—it is reasonable to test again or seek additional medical evaluation.

A negative result does not always rule out pregnancy. If you test too early, there may not yet be enough pregnancy hormone, called hCG, for the test to detect.
If your period does not begin, your symptoms continue, or you still feel that you may be pregnant, please reach out. Repeat testing or additional evaluation may be recommended, and we can help you determine the best time to test again.
Most medications and common medical conditions do not affect pregnancy test results. Pregnancy tests detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Most antibiotics, birth control pills, and common over-the-counter medications will not cause a positive result.
Important exceptions include certain fertility medications that contain hCG. A recent pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, or delivery can also leave hCG in the body for a period of time and cause a positive test. Rare medical conditions may also affect hCG levels.
False-negative results are more common than false positives, especially when testing very early or with diluted urine.
